Who this covers
This policy explains how our internal customer-management system ("One Step CRM") handles personal data when people contact One Step through our Facebook Page or our Instagram business account (@0ne1_step).
What we receive
- The text of direct messages sent to our Facebook Page or Instagram business account.
- The text of comments left on our Page or Instagram posts, and the identifier of the post or comment.
- The sender's platform-scoped ID that Meta provides, and the time the message or comment was sent.
We do not receive your Facebook or Instagram password, and we do not collect data from your profile beyond what Meta includes with the message or comment.
How we use it
- To read and answer your message or comment.
- Routine enquiries may receive an automatic reply from One Step's AI assistant. Requests involving prices, commitments or sensitive decisions are passed to our team.
- The text of your message and recent messages in the same conversation may be sent to our AI service provider (Cloudflare Workers AI) to prepare a reply. Our staff can also use AI suggestions when replying manually.
- To keep a record of our conversations with customers and prospects.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Messages and comments are stored in a private database hosted by Supabase. Only the founders of One Step can read them, after signing in. Our service providers (Meta, Supabase, Cloudflare for AI drafting help, and our website host Vercel) process data on our behalf to run the service.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and comments for as long as we need them to serve you and keep our business records, and delete them when you ask us to (see below).
Your choices and deletion
You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete the data we hold about you. See our data deletion instructions.
Security
Access is limited to signed-in founders. Data is protected in transit with HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
